Quilts for Japan

 No photo for this post.

There's a need for warm quilts, new or newish with a wash before sending. Baby
quilts are especially appreciated.  Quilts need to get to Colorado by April 30 so I'm pulling out my scraps tonight. Here is where you can find out more from Tanya, a quilter in Japan. I read her blog regularly and she's checked out the source. See what you think...

  1. Hi Patty, saw what happened to your little goat cloth: that's the way it is: the world upside down !
I don't know if there are any initiatives here in Holland to send quilts, I will look for it...
Btw, love your woven cloths. I kind of stopped with the Boro class to work for the "fair" and I have another class with Glennis in progress, which means it will take some time before I'll be Boro-ing again ;-)

  2. Thank you for this information. I love your sweet goat in the center of whatever craziness may be going on.

  3. Els, I took Glennis' class online last year and it's great information. I like the dyes she uses.

Handstories, yes the world is crazy right now. I'm going to post another place to send small toys to children at receiving centers for homeless in Japan. Somehow this feels better than just sending money.

Thank you both for your kind words!
