Rotary blade sharpener

Before I bought this tool I asked lots of people if it works and no one I asked had tried it. I just used it to sharpen a dull blade and it works very well! So happy to extend the life of those expensive rotary blades.

  1. I have one of those and I have used it many times. They work great! Way cheaper than buying new blades and takes the frustration out of nicking them since I know I can sharpen it again.

  2. Yes, I'm out to spread the word now that I know they work so well. I've been cutting lots of batting and that seems to dull them quicker...also paper backed fabric with adhesive.

  3. if the batting is synthetic, it will really kill a blade. i use an old knife sharpener that has been in the family for years.

  4. Hey, I didn't know that but it makes perfect sense. I like that I don't have to keep buying those blades. Also, I found a flint dust filled "berry" to sharpen my sewing needles.
