Elusive lavender

I have a good amount of fabric but couldn't match the sky in this painting.

It's lavender with a touch of indigo. Still, I learned a little about color from this.

  1. it's amazing how many colors our eyes can perceive ... although it can be frustrating when the perfect match can't be found

that said, I love the mottled colors in the patches to either side and at the bottom ...

    1. It is amazing! I love those same mottled colors. I was thinking of boro stitches in an indigo with 1-2 threads?

    1. Hi Sally, I'm sorry to delete your comment. Parkinson's
takes away our motor skills. I still struggle with fatigue and drawing, etc. I wish you well in your journey.
none of us asked for this. I'd rather bot make it the center of my life. Be well, Patty
