Benten is a Japanese Kami/Deity who personifies wisdom, rivers and
everything that flows (wiki). Benten was inspired by Saraswati (a Hindu deity). Saraswati
waits on another cloth to be sewn. Sewing, sowing wisdom would is a good thought for me.

I like the fluidity of your images rendered in warm, fire tones. I didn't know that "wiki" meant flow.

Benten's influence. When I think of it more deeply I see that wisdom does flow. Most often when I'm not talking but listening. Thank you for your kind words.

Maybe blame it on camera quality, but I really like the softness and almost worn look to these bits of cloth and the ancient stories they, you tell.
