New jobs take lots of time to learn. I've been living/working in jeans for 20 years. So lots of time has been taken up hemming work pants, finding comfortable shoes and not much fun sewing. But yesterday while we waited for that awful, tornado spawning storm I was able to sew all day. Worked on some collaged beasties and woven mats and other small components. So many big bumble bees out lately. Both our neighbors are beekeepers so our bee population is healthy. You can tell what's hanging out in my yard and mind.
This croc suggested himself from a scrap that fell on the floor. Love it when that happens.
This fabric was purchased because of those great lion heads!
No lamb yet, we bred really late last fall. Lots of rabbits around. And we're getting a barn cat because the
mice are relentless this year. Will post photos when he arrives.

I love these color combinations you have woven. Glad you found opportunity to do a little stitching. Hope you remain safe.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you should do a barn cat pic too? lol Great croc ! Funny but I found a piece of fabric that spoke of a lions mane and plan to make one as well. Like you say, when that happens, it was meant! Like the way your lions are twinned too, great fun.
ReplyDeleteThank you both. You know you're in a groove when
ReplyDeletestuff falls on the floor and you see something!
Jan, how's the new Llama doing?
